Terms of Service

This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

Salam Noor is the trading name of Abdel Alahdal, a sole trader established in England and Wales ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of salamnoor.com and the services we provide, and any contract you enter into under them is with Abdel Alahdal trading as Salam Noor. Contact: [email protected], 83 Barfort Court, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE9 6LT, United Kingdom.

2. The agreement

We provide design and development services at a fixed scope for a fixed price, as set out in your order and the accompanying Service Agreement. Your order, the Service Agreement, the Refund & Credit Policy and these terms together form the contract between us. Where they differ, the signed Service Agreement prevails.

3. Orders and acceptance

An order is placed at checkout and accepted when we confirm it and issue your invoice and Service Agreement. Prices are shown before you order; the total you agree at checkout is the total we invoice.

4. Payment

Fees are payable as stated on your invoice, by bank transfer using the reference shown. Work begins on acceptance and payment as agreed. We are not registered for VAT and no VAT is charged.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide the content, access and approvals we need to do the work, and to use any service we host in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. Delays caused by outstanding information may move agreed dates.

6. Changes to scope

Fixed scope means changes beyond what was agreed are quoted separately before we carry them out. We will not do additional chargeable work without your approval.

7. Refunds, credit and cancellation

Refunds, credit notes and cancellation are governed by our Refund & Credit Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: our standard remedy is credit, not cash; business clients contract in the course of business; and consumers keep the statutory cancellation rights set out in that policy.

8. Intellectual property

On full payment, you own the deliverables we create for you. We keep the rights to our pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how, and we may show completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.

9. If something is not right

If a deliverable is not as agreed, tell us and we will put it right. Our liability to a business client is limited to the fees paid for the affected work; nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing affects a consumer's statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy, our Complaints procedure explains how to raise it and our promise to respond within five working days.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your own place of residence.
