Acceptable Use Policy
1. About this policy
Salam Noor is the trading name of Abdel Alahdal, a sole trader established in England and Wales. Salam Noor is not registered for VAT. You can contact us at [email protected] or by post at 83 Barfort Court, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE9 6LT, United Kingdom.
This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of our website at salamnoor.com and of any hosted service, application, dashboard, or account we make available to you (together, the "Service"). It applies alongside our Terms of Service and, for business customers, our Refund & Credit Policy.
By using the Service you agree to this policy. If you do not accept it, please do not use the Service.
2. Prohibited uses
You must not use the Service, and must not allow anyone else to use the Service:
- for any purpose that is unlawful or that breaches any applicable law or regulation;
- to publish, store, or transmit material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or that incites violence or hatred;
- to infringe the intellectual property rights of any person, including any copyright, trade mark, database right, or design right;
- to upload, transmit, or distribute any virus, worm, trojan, ransomware, or other malicious code;
- to gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, to the servers on which it is hosted, or to any account, network, or data connected to it;
- to scrape, harvest, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service by automated means without our prior written consent;
- to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or to operate any phishing, fraud, or deception scheme;
- to overload, impair, or disrupt the Service, or to bypass any usage limit, rate limit, filtering, or security measure.
3. Content standards
This clause applies to anything you supply, upload, or ask us to publish, host, or process ("Your Content"). Your Content must:
- be accurate where it states facts, and genuinely held where it states opinions;
- comply with the law of England and Wales and of any country from which it is published;
- not infringe the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights and rights of privacy;
- not be threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or likely to harass, deceive, or cause distress to any person.
You are responsible for obtaining every right, licence, and consent needed for us to host and process Your Content, and you confirm that Your Content meets these standards.
4. Suspension and removal of content
We may remove or disable access to any content, or suspend any account, that we reasonably believe breaches this policy or that the law requires us to remove.
Where it is practical and lawful to do so, we will give you notice and an opportunity to correct the breach. Where a breach is serious, unlawful, or creates a risk to us or to others, we may act immediately and without notice.
We may report conduct we believe to be unlawful to the relevant authorities and cooperate with them, including by disclosing your identity.
5. Effect of suspension on charges (business customers)
For business customers, a suspension or removal made because you have breached this policy is not a failure of the Service by us. It does not entitle you to any refund or credit under our Refund & Credit Policy, and charges that are already due remain payable for the period up to and during the suspension.
6. Reporting abuse
If you believe that any content on the Service, or the conduct of any user, breaches this policy, please report it to [email protected] with enough detail for us to locate and assess it. We read every report we receive.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any right or remedy you have that cannot be limited or excluded by law. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or to the law. The version published on salamnoor.com is always the current one, and the date shown as last reviewed tells you when it last changed. If you continue to use the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated policy.
